EXPEDITION OVERVIEW
*The tours from Salaverry will depend on the arrival of the ship to the port. Buses or vans are parked from 8am and can be boarded until 8:30am- final departure.
But always check the arrival of the cruise ship to Salaverry to be able to schedule departures.
We drive to Chicama Valley, about 60 km north of Trujillo, to visit El Brujo, another complex of the Moche civilization. Archaeological excavations started here in 1990, where they found the Woman of Cao, a 1,500 year old, tattooed female mummy.

Important information:
- The departure of the tours will depend on the arrival of the ship at the port of Salaverry.
- Our buses are from 8am inside the port of Salaverry.
- Departure at 8:30 am.
- The end of the visits is 2 hours before the departure of the ship, according to the captaincy’s order.
- For our cruise tours we pick up within the port of Salaverry.
- We have special permits for entry and we are the only one local Tours company with permits.
- You must wait for your pick up within the port or walk only 20 meters to the bus park inside Salaverry.( Look Photos down )
- The tour starts inside Salaverry and ends inside Puerto Salaverry.( look in google map ,search it down )
- YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE SHUTLE BUS or cruise buses to plaza de armas of salaverry.
You must notify the captaincy that our cars are inside Salaverry for your tours. - Our staff will be with NORTE EXPEDITION logo and your names on the list for your tours.
