Today we drive south of Trujillo to understand moche culture and its spectular way of building in pyramids shapes using only mud and bricks :

We started walking by Huaca del sol near by green fields and have an interact with local people showing customs on the way us preparing and selling maize chicha beer in botle or just to taste it.

We stop in huaca del sol and then crossing by moche covered ancient city to take a look about Street, houses and plazas.

We get in to the huaca de la luna to walk around 1 hour with a english guide who is going to explaning everything about religion, economy and social Moche Culture structure.
Moon or Huaca de la Luna, a religious center for the Moche culture, which developed between 100 and 900 AD. The archaeological complex shows the two large pyramids with flat tops, known as huacas.
we have time to spent money in local handycraft and take a National Pisco Sour and local beer.

HALF DAY CITY TOURS “WALKING BY TRUJILLO COLONIAL CITY “

We will take you on a tour through Trujillo. An important city in Spanish times, Trujillo has beautiful colonial buildings and mansions. We visit Plaza de Armas with its cathedral, built between 1647 and 1666.

We also visit the Archbishop’s Palace and Calonge House, where Simón Bolívar, the Liberator of South America lived. Then we visit the Emancipation House, now home to Banco Continental, and then the Iturregui Palace, built in 1842, which is currently home to the Central Club.

Then we will visit the Archeological & History Museum, where objects from the different pre-Columbian cultures will be on display.

In addition to visiting the central market of Trujillo, a place with a lot of local culture and the sale of native fruits, and seeing a different way of life for the local population.

After walking around the city, it will be time to try a traditional Trujillo lunch based on duck, goat or ceviche; then enjoy a marinera show and Paso horses.

FULL DAY TREASURES IN TRUJILLO

The temples of the Sun and the Moon, a religious center for the Moche culture, which developed between 100 and 900 AD. The archaeological complex shows the two large pyramids with flat tops, known as huacas.
